Soul Winning?

Who?   If you know Christ, YOU should be winning the lost because...

• You are a part of “the body of Christ” and it is the work of Christ to win the lost. (1 Corinthians 12:13, 27; Luke 19:10)
• You are the “sons of God” and it is the character of God to win the lost. (John 1:12; 2 Peter 3:9)
• You are indwelt by the Holy Spirit whose purpose is to help you to win the lost. (1 John 2:20; Acts 1:8)
• You are a part of the Church, and the Church was founded on the principles of evangelism. (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 8:1,4)

What?   Soul winning is...

• Sowing the gospel seed. (Matthew 13:1-23)
• Delivering the gospel message. (Mark 16:15-16)

The Gospel

  "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:" (1Corinthians 15:3-4).
   "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." (John 3:36).

When?   YOU should be winning souls NOW because...

• The harvest is ripe. (John 4:35).
• The power to witness is made available to every believer NOW. (Acts 1:8).
• The last minutes are ticking off. (Ephesians 5:16).
• This is your only opportunity to do something for the Lord. (2 Timothy 2:15).

Where?   Where ever YOU are be winning souls because...

• You are the salt of the earth. (Matthew 5:13)
• You are the light of the world. (Matthew 5:14)

Why?   We must engage in Soul winning because...

• God’s Word commands it. (Matthew 28:19-20).
• Jesus deserves it. (2 Corinthians 5:14).
• The unsaved world needs it. (1 John 5:12)

How?   We can sow the gospel seed, or deliver the gospel message by...

• Giving someone a gospel tract.
• Share your Personal Testimony of salvation.
• Confront someone about their lostness.
