Death Of The Family

  “And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. (Genesis 2:23-24).” This was the birth of the family as it has been known since the beginning of time.

 Why the family? Very simply, the family is God’s basic building block of society, the block by which nations would be formed, and life proliferated according to His design. But now, in this unprecedented year of attack, the enemies of the family stand poised to deliver its final, mortal blow.

 Our flesh craves all that is ungodly. “Human Rights” take precedence, to the neglect of all “Human Responsibility.” The enemies of God will not be satisfied until the family is destroyed, men can marry men, women can marry women, and either can marry a child, or even an animal. Sounds ludicrous doesn’t it? But the same authority who condemns the debauched lifestyle of homosexuality, also warns of the sins that follow. The Authority? We call Him God!

 What can you do to save the family? Most importantly, you can spend time in prayer. The Word of God says that our prayers make a difference; I believe God. Secondly, 34 senators, who are enemies of the family, are prepared to vote against the Federal Marriage Amendment that our president desires to sign into law. Write AND call your senators to boldly and enthusiastically express your desire for them to maintain the sanctity of the family, by passing the FMA, and to speak out against homosexuality.

 Perhaps you are a homosexual and this article angers you. Please understand that I am not against you, but against the lifestyle that you believe is your choice. God calls homosexuality sin, and sin nailed His Son, Jesus Christ, to the cross. He loves you and wants you to come to Him by faith and receive forgiveness. God help you to be so bold as to look into this glorious love.
